Stefanie and Francisco have more than their fair share of astounding qualities: they’re both intelligent, creative, down-to-earth, compassionate, worldly, and I had a sneaking suspicion they would know how to throw a mad awesome party. Where do I start? Wedding timelines written for all to see on butcher paper? Genius! Detailed and whimsically decorated chalk signs? Yes! Elaborate bouquets and boutonnieres handmade by the bride? Wow. Backyard games to entertain guests? Check. An umbrella dance, where guests throw streamers over an umbrella, under which the couple is slow dancing? So romantic! And quite possibly, a thousand cranes. This eclectic and fun-filled celebration is a wedding after my own heart, where fun, friends, and family definitely dominated the theme of the day.
