I’ve known Cindy since she was a tomboy skater-chick, with chin length hair, baggy jeans, and dark brown lipstick. We all felt a tug in our hearts when she moved away to Atlanta, and I get all sentimental when I see this woman she’s grown into. Still headstrong and independent, she’s met kind and thoughtful Todd. Her sister, Connie, had asked me to be there to document the moment he proposed to her, in front of her family moments after she landed at LAX. I remember being thrilled for this long-time friend, for having found this guy who gets how important family is to her. I remember feeling rest assured upon meeting her amazing group of gals she’s befriended out there in Atlanta when we celebrated her bachelorette party. And then came the wedding. Part vacation, part reunion, they gave the Atlanta guests a taste of sunny, poolside California in this hilltop mansion that once belonged to Hedda Hopper. Cindy, a talented graphic designer, created the invitations, escort cards, and check out her modern take on the bouquet!
Much love to Todd and Cindy! Check in next week for their trash-the-dress session!
