Just over a year ago, Jeff hired me to document his romantic proposal to June on a Friday afternoon on the beaches of Santa Monica.  He had decorated “their” bench with gorgeous flowers, ready with a warm blanket, and a photo he had taken of June on that exact bench from one of their first dates.  I was so nervous, there was nobody else out there on the open sand, and I didn’t want to give away the moment by being some suspicious lady with two cameras and a monster telephoto lens.  I desperately flagged down two random guys walking by, and begged them to model for me as if I was there to photograph them.  I think it worked, because June’s reaction was so pure and genuine.

Here we are, a year since Jeff’s proposal, and I’m elated to share Jeff and June’s intimate wedding–this time, on the cliffs of Santa Monica overlooking their bench on another Friday afternoon.  I just love their approach to their wedding day.  They celebrated with their closest friends and family, they looked modern and fresh (LOVE June’s floral headpiece and Jeff’s blue polka dot handkerchief!), and they kept everything so close they were able to walk to just about all of the locations in this city that has such special meaning for them.
