For how simple Shanda and Alan kept their big day, I was wowed by how gorgeous it all came together. The day started with a casual ceremony at the Beverly Hills Courthouse. Afterwards, I was like a kid in a candy store working with this stunning couple. Between this fabulous looking couple, two dresses (and two ties!), two fabulous pairs of heels, two locations, and loads of chemistry, we got so many great shots it was hard to narrow down the selection to what you see here. The evening ended with a meaningful dinner of close family and friends at a champagne and dessert bar in Old Town Pasadena. Check out the photos and you’ll see that Shanda and Alan rocked their day with style and grace.

Congratulations to Alan and Shanda! Thank you for being such an inspiration to work with.
Thank you to the lovely Jessica Luna for being a rockstar!

Love that Natassia and Will had me come over and document their new addition–Hunter, the puppy! As a doggy mommy of two, this session has inspired me to photograph my own pets more.

Cindy and Todd live in Atlanta, so we never got a chance to do an engagement session. Instead, we had a blast shooting the day after their wedding. Since they still had the house, we took full advantage of the neighboring hillsides and the pool afterwards. I love it when my couple is game for anything! Cindy and Todd braved the prickly meadow (I know it looks romantic, but there were sticklers everywhere) and hopped into the pool just as the sun was dipping over the horizon. Take a look–so worth it, right?!
