Aja Dang and Laura Varney have a vision: it is not only possible, but pleasurable to live fabulously in a metropolis such as Los Angeles, and to be kinder and greener on our planet.  On some level, all of us who are eco-conscious have known this, but perhaps haven’t done the research or put in the effort to live this.  What the Eco-istas offer is a wide array of tips, tricks, and knowledge that embraces the ethos of living green without sacrificing the joys of being a  modern urban woman.

Cheers to the launch of the Eco-istas website!  I loved working with these fun and inspiring ladies!

Karen and James are so much in love!  Their undeniable connection made it so easy to work with them on their engagement session.  Calamigos Ranch was the perfect setting for their storybook romance.  We were so inspired by the setting, their energy, and by who they simply are.  Our hearts opened for them as they blossomed in each other’s company.  James has a fabulous sense of humor, and Karen is gorgeous with that flaming red hair and sincere smile.  Little patches of sunlight opened up on that rainy day, and we loved how it caught her hair and brought a modern edge to the gorgeous country background.  James had a hard time narrowing down his favorites because he said she looks amazing in every single one!  We agree!

I was lucky to have my East Coast partner, Molly Stinchfield, working with me on this shoot!  Every time we work together, amazingness happens!!
